ABC News Exclusive:  Aired February 25th, 2010 at 7:40am EST:   ABC's Correspondent, Lisa Stark, interviews former FDA LASIK Medical Device Chief , Mr. Morris Waxler, PHD, as to why he suddenly is concerned about LASIK surgery.   Is it true that LASIK doctors are NOT filing mandatory "permanent complications" into the FDA's Medwatch Reporting System?  Is it also true that the FDA allowed "permanent complications/data" to be "put aside," knowing that there were permanent problems with LASIK that have no cure.  Problems such as daily eye pain, daily distorted night vision, daily contrast issues,

Reputable Eye Doctor "Warning Patients To NOT Get Elective LASIK Eye Permanent and Irreversible Surgery:    Why would a reputable Optometrist WARN the public to stay clear of LASIK eye surgery?  There is no money in it for them?  Maybe this person knows more than you and I about the permanent and irreversible damages and complications that every LASIK  procedure causes over time.  Just because "permanent complications" do not show up immediately after the elective surgery, "doesn't mean they are not going to show up."  Will people listen before having their credit card swiped for $5,000 and will they really take the time to first investigate the horror stories?
